• Ballet manners and movement are taught with engaging songs and nursery rhymes.
• There is always time for improvisation!
• Parent Demonstration Class at the end of term demonstrates all that we have learned.

Move Like the Animals

• 30-45 minute once a week class
• for 3-5 year old boys and girls
• Move Like the Animals is a developmental movement course designed by Stephen Rosenholtz and based on the Feldenkrais Method.
• We move like a Bear, an Alligator, a Cat and a Frog exploring the different ways they walk.
• This course can be expanded to include mask-making, bringing in favourite stuffed animals from home, illustrating the animals etc.
• Parent Demonstration Class at the end of term demonstrates our animal moves!

Ms. Erin started dancing as a preschooler herself in Ms. Pigeon's classes in Ottawa Canada. Ballet has remained a consistent and important part of her life. Always tall and always at ease with children she was promoted from demonstrator to assistant to teacher as a teenager in the Patricia Sekeres Classical Ballet School. She also attended the Pre-Professional Program at The School of Dance Ottawa.

She undertook more intellectual pursuits at University but was always involved in the dance community. And it was during that time that she was introduced to the Feldenkrais Method.

After having children of her own and looking for high quality dance instruction she decided to offer her own classes using her Canadian curriculum and she certified in the Cecchetti Method of Ballet.

Ms. Erin has a wonderful way with children. She has a great ability to meet them at their level and to engage with them imaginatively. You won't believe how much they'll learn!
